Jairam alongwith 11 Cabinet ministers Took oath

In a oath-taking ceremony today, BJP 52-years-old leader Jairam Thakur sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh alongwith ministers of his newly formed 12-member Cabinet.

The oath was administered by the Governor SHRI Acharya Devvrat in the presence of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, BJP Chief, Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister, Adityanath Yogi, Rajnath, senior BJP leader, L.K. Advani, and Nitin Gadkari.

                 new Cabinet includes the following ministers

  • Mahender Singh Thakur- Won from Dharampur constituency by defeating INC’s Chander Shekhar.
  • Suresh Bhardwaj – Won Shimla-urban by defeating Independent candidate Harish Janartha and Congress’s Harbhajjan Singh Bhajji
  • Anil Sharma- Won Mandi constituency by defeating Congress candidate Champa Thakur
  • Sarveen Chaudhari- Won Shahpur Constituency by defeating independent candidate Major (retired) Vijai Singh Mankotia
  • Ramlal Markanda-Won the Lahaul and Spiti constituency by defeating Congress’s Ravi Thakur
  • Vipin Parmar – Won Sullah seat by Congress’s Jagjiwan Paul
  • Virender Kanwar – Won Kutlehar by defeating Congress’ Vivek Sharma
  • Vikram Singh – Defeated Congress’ Kuldeep Singh Pathania.
  • Rajiv Sahjal – Won the Kasauli by defeating congress’s g Vinod Sultanpuri
  • Govind Singh: Won Manali by defeating Congress’ Hari Chand Sharma in Manali
  • Kishan Kapoor- Won the Dharamshala constituency by defeating Congress’ Sudhir Sharma
